From Mid-City to Rip City

What started as a pop-up off a porch in Mid-City, New Orleans to a food truck in SE Portland to now 4 locations in the region and a mobile catering truck, MCSB has quickly become a beloved institution thanks to our dedication to quality, local ingredients and classic cooking techniques. Since opening, MidCity SmashedBurger has achieved great critical acclaim in publications including The Oregonian and Forbes.

Using fresh never frozen beef sourced from the Pacific Northwest, MCSB has perfected the art of the smash burger. Each patty is smashed flat beneath a FINEX cast-iron press, resulting in a thin and crispy texture that’s impossible to resist. Topped with American cheese and our signature SmashSauce, these burgers are a taste sensation that will transport you back to a simpler time.
