What started as a pop-up off a porch in Mid-City, New Orleans to a food truck in SE Portland to now 4 locations in the region, MCSB has quickly become a beloved institution thanks to our dedication to quality, local ingredients and classic cooking techniques. Since opening amidst the pandemic, MidCity SmashedBurger has achieved great critical acclaim in publications including The Oregonian and Portland Monthly.
Using 80/20 beef sourced from the Pacific Northwest, MCSB has perfected the art of the smash burger. Each patty is smashed flat beneath a cast-iron press, resulting in a thin and crispy texture that’s impossible to resist. Topped with American cheese and our signature Smash Sauce, these burgers are a taste sensation that will transport you back to a simpler time.
